Courier Acceptance service
Applicants may also submit their applications at the nearest GDA courier centre
nominated by VFS. GDA will liaise with the UK Visa Application Centre to send
and return the application by courier. The application can then be collected
from the respective GDA centre on production of the GDA airway bill.
The application pack must include the following:

Completed Visa application form,

Application fee in the form of a bankers draft made payable to the "British
Embassy Bangkok"

Passport ( minimum validity 3 months and sufficient blank pages on both sides)

Photographs (see photo specifications)

Photocopy of the data page of the passport ( passport page with photo)

Supporting documentation (see checklists)

Forward and return courier charges in the form of a bank draft made payable to
"VFS Thailand Ltd"
The application pack must be submitted to GDA in an open envelope. GDA staff
will then check that the pack contains the documentation detailed above. The
applicant and GDA representative will sign a checklist of contents before the
envelope is sealed for dispatch.
An airway bill will then be issued by GDA as proof of receipt. This receipt
should be retained by the applicant as it will be required when the passport is
returned.
The following is a breakdown of charges for applications submitted by courier:
Two way courier from within Bangkok: Baht 360
Two way courier from upcountry locations: Baht 620
Two way courier charges from island areas of Thailand: Baht 880.
(Areas covered: Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Buri Ram, Chaiyaphum, Kalasin,
Loei, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nong Khai, Roi
Et, Sakon Nakon, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Yasothon)
Two way courier charges from Laos or Cambodia: Baht 1400
All charges must be in the form of a bank draft made payable to "VFS Thailand
Ltd"
Any overseas bank draft would attract an additional clearance fee of 155 Bhat per
draft which would be either payable through cash or a bank draft favouring VFS
(Thailand) Ltd.
