The UK Visa Application Centre is officially authorised by the
British Embassy Bangkok, Thailand to accept applications for all
categories of visas, collect visa application charges and returning
passports to applicants. In addition, the UK Visa Application Centre
arranges time and date of the interview, required by the Embassy.
Please note there is no change in UK Immigration Rules. All applications
will be assessed on their merits in accordance with British legislation
and policy.
The UK Visa Application Centre is run and managed by VFS (Thailand)
Ltd. VFS provides a visa application support service only. VFS staff
have no power or influence over the outcome of an application. The
decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by Entry Clearance
Officers at the British Embassy. VFS's role is entirely impartial.
VFS staff will provide visa information but they cannot and will
not offer immigration advice.
It remains our commitment to ensure the integrity of our visa process.
Any applicant submitting false documentation or other information
in support of their application may be refused a visa and the matter
maybe referred to the local authorities.
Use of Visa Agents
There are a number of visa agents in operation throughout Thailand,
prospective applicants may choose to use them in order to support
or prepare their entry clearance application. It is important
to note that these agents are in no way whatsoever connected to
the Embassy. They have no influence over the outcome of an application.
The British Embassy's outsource partner, VFS Global, operates from
the UK Visa Application Centre. Their staff are clearly identifiable
by their uniform.
Any decision to utilise the service of an agent is entirely
at the applicants' discretion.
