Visa Application Fees How to pay If your bank account is held at a bank in Bangkok You can pay the visa application fee by 'cashiers cheque' or 'bank draft' from any bank made payable to 'The British Embassy Bangkok'. Service charge free option You may visit any of the 25 select branches of Bank of Ayudhya and get a cashier cheque in favour of 'The British Embassy Bangkok'. There is no charge for this payment service. You should bring the cashier cheque with you to the visa application centre when you submit your visa application. Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Refunds: A fee will be refundable only if the application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics have not been taken, or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas are granted for less than the period applied for. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 09 June 2010.
