Visa Application Fees How to pay: In Bangkok - A 'Cashiers Cheque' or 'Bankers Draft' from any bank. Some banks may charge you to use their banking service; a service charge free option is listed below. Outside Bangkok - A 'Bankers Draft' from any Bank in Thailand. Some banks may charge you to use their banking service; a service charge free option is listed below. Service charge free option - A 'cashiers cheque' from any of the 25 select branches of Bank of Ayudhya that offers the free surcharge option. All 'cashiers cheques' or 'banker drafts' should be made payable to the 'British Embassy Bangkok'. - Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. The visa application fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application and is not refundable if your application is refused. If a payment has been made and the application is not submitted or if the applicant refuses to provide biometric details with their application, then we will refund the fee. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 8 March 2010. The consular rate of exchange is 1 GBP = 52 THB.
